Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Popular California Shoreline
A chopper flying near a popular California coastline abruptly began spiraling out of control, finally losing altitude and plunging into a row of palm groves as beachgoers watched.
Recordings posted on the internet depict the helicopter beginning to twirl near the beach then descending in the direction of the border of the coast, where it gets stuck between palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Emergency responders reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising two individuals who were in the chopper and were “rescued from the debris” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
Three people on the pavement were injured. Specifics on their wounds were not immediately available.
